Now, normally when I go to my comments section I just lament the lack of real comments and delete the spam comments. This time, however, one of the spam comments was so awesome I just had to share it!
This comment was a response to my post This is why I hate writing about personal stuff in which I discussed my recent job loss:
“I’m now not sure where you’re getting your info, however good topic. I needs to spend a while learning much more or working out more. Thank you for magnificent info I was searching for this information for my mission.”
Mr. Spammer begins with the statement that he’s “now not sure where [I'm] getting [my] info.” Does this mean that he was sure before and now he isn’t? What happened between when he was sure about the source of my info, and now? The entire post was just my thoughts on being fired. Shouldn’t the source of my info be self-evident?
My favourite part is when Mr. Spammer is trying to decide being learning more and working out. Based on the topic of my post, I’d hazard a guess that working out isn’t going to help with the mission.
However, I don’t know the details of Mr. Spammer’s mission. Is he going to seek vengeance on my previous employers for firing me? Is he an alien charged with the task of discovering how human’s handle being fired? If that’s his mission, he should read my post on being fired to see that humans handle being fired
really badly really well! At least I do; I obviously can’t speak for everyone.
Regardless of whatever mission Mr. Spammer is on, I wish him luck!
P.S. So far I’ve had 9 spam comments and 1 real comment. *sad face* I love that people like my posts, but if you ever have anything to say to me, even if it’s to disagree, please comment! I will search for a unicorn and give you the first one I find!
